Looking to make an Impact

Adaptability has been the cornerstone of my career thus far. I have moved from city to city immersing myself in new industries and learning diverse business practices. Along the way, I’ve acquired a wide range of skills, compartmentalizing them to maximize their utility. My journey has included ambitious pursuits in writing, acting, and entrepreneurship, which taught me that my strengths are best channeled into the right profession. This realization led me to pursue and complete a Master’s degree in Psychology, providing me a solid foundation for understanding human behavior and organizational dynamics.

With my experience in various roles across different organizations and cultures, I have developed the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to a variety of work environments. I am committed to making a meaningful impact in my next role, and I will only apply to positions where I believe my experience, education, and insights can truly contribute to the organization’s success. My goal is not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them, taking pride in the work I do every single day.

Experience

I learned the importance of setting and achieving goals, demonstrated by leading campers on challenging hikes, including summiting 14,000-foot peaks. This experience taught me the value of perseverance and the fulfillment that comes from pushing through and guiding others to reach their potential.

This role sharpened my ability to handle complex tasks with precision and reliability.

Writing/Presentations

I have written numerous papers and delivered many presentations over the years. To highlight my diverse writing styles, research abilities, and the issues I am passionate about, I selected a few of my favorite works. These pieces reflect not only my academic growth, but also my commitment to exploring topics that resonate deeply with me.

Hobbies/Goals

It is a significant goal of mine to establish a career in a region where I can see myself living for at least the next 10+ years. I am primarily focusing my job search in the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, and Silicon Valley, though I remain open to opportunities across the country. My objective is to be a dependable and collaborative teammate, someone who can be counted on and who contributes positively to the workplace environment.

In my free time, I enjoy several hobbies:

  • Investing: I actively manage my portfolio, staying informed about market trends and opportunities.
  • Sports: I have a passion for both football and basketball, whether its playing, watching, or analyzing the game.
  • Reading: I make a point to stay up to date with world events, constantly expanding my sources for reliable information.
  • Appreciating Nature: I find peace in watching a great sunset, savoring the quiet moments.
  • Brewing Appreciation: While my current area lacks many breweries, I have a deep appreciation for the craft of brewing and enjoy exploring different beers.
  • Thrifting: I enjoy the the thrill of trying to find something unique and giving it a new life.
  • Walking my dog: Spending time outdoors with my dog is one of my favorite ways to unwind and stay active.

Social Media Policy/Contact

In both positive and challenging ways, I grew up with the internet. As a naturally curious person, I have always appreciated how easily questions can be answered with a quick search on my phone. I was active on social media from a young age and became acutely aware of its negative effects – not just on myself, but on my entire generation. Social media can be a toxic environment, filled with negative comments and an overemphasis on self-promotion. Because of this, I choose not to post on social media. Instead, I use it primarily to stay informed about trends, news, or for pure entertainment. I don’t use social media to connect with others; I prefer more direct forms of communication like email or text, and when necessary, a phone call. I believe this approach allows me to be more authentic in face-to-face interactions, and overall, I feel better without being active on social media.
